Being from California, there has been a lot of talk on Proposition 8. If voted YES it will restore the definition of marriage between a man and a woman and it will protect our children from learning in public schools that "same -gender marriage" is the same as traditional marriage. If voted No, the sanctity of marriage will be destroyed. No longer will we celebrate husbands and wives having and raising children. We loose the right as parents to teach our children about relationships according to our own values and beliefs.
Prop 8 needs our attention. We have only 13 days until Californians vote on this issue. I only hope that we can protect the definition of marriage. The world is stronger when the family is strong. There is nothing greater than to have a father and mother who love each other and in turn love and raise children with morals and the knowledge of a divine plan for the family. Families are wonderful, I'm so grateful for mine!
